They say the third time’s the charm, and while we can’t say year three is better than years one or two, our third year in business has been charming indeed.
After going bicoastal and adding to our Quorum in year two, we spent year three focusing on financial education and professional excellence so we can offer you the best service possible. Because this year, as every year, you are why we do this.
We got thoughtful in year three
In the past year, we leaned into financial education and “thought leadership.” Not only did we continue our personal finance workshops with the Haas School at Berkeley, several members of the Quorum team shared thoughts with reporters.
Managing Partner Kelly Milligan shared market insights and tips to help young people convert high-paying jobs into lasting wealth. Managing Partner Mike Barry shared insights on how to think about your finances when building a blended family. Mike and Kelly were both named to the Best-In-State Wealth Advisor1 list for Northern California in 2024 by Forbes and SHOOK Research.
The overall firm received a nod as a Top 250 RIA2 from Forbes as well.
We were thrilled to take that leadership “on the road” this past year. Mike represented Quorum at a number of industry events, from the Barron’s Top Advisor Summit to Pershing’s Insite. Not only has he gotten to share our team’s expertise with other client-focused advisors, he’s also had a chance to learn from them. We aim to keep a finger on the pulse of what the industry is doing to ensure we’re always bringing the best available products, services, and technology to you. This commitment to excellence is one of the reasons Quorum Private Wealth was named Partner Firm of the Year by Sanctuary.
Partner Sue Mazzetti was named to the Top Women Wealth Advisor’s Best-In-State3 list for Northern California in 2024 by Forbes and SHOOK Research. She also received a Pathfinder Award from Wealth Solutions Report in 2024 for her work as a financial advisor. On top of all of that, she continued to advocate for women working in financial services as President of Financial Women of San Francisco.
Facing the future
It’s a strange thing, launching a business on the heels of a global pandemic. In many ways, this past year was the first truly ‘normal’ year for in-person events and meetings—and we made sure to take advantage of it!
From holiday parties in Danville and New Jersey to our Fourth of July watch party, it’s been great to see our community come together (or reach a Quorum!). Beyond that, we’ve loved the chance to meet face-to-face with so many of you.
We’ve also worked to share educational content and insights with you outside of our scheduled meetings. If you haven’t visited our blog or YouTube channel recently, we recommend them—you may even find helpful tips to share with friends and family.
So: What’s ahead in year four? Our goal is simple: Do more of what we love, which is helping you finance the life and future you want. It’s our pleasure to work with you, we are grateful for the referrals and feedback that have helped us grow our Quorum, and we look forward to what’s ahead.
